Under the new Energy Performance Building Directive(EPBD),
a BER Certificate is required for all buildings newly built or
offered for sale or rent.

A BER Certificate shows the energy rating of a dwelling on
a scale of G(least efficent) up to A(most efficent).

A BER Certificate can only be issued by a qualified assessor
registered with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland(SEAI).

As part of your BER Certificate, you will receive an advisory report
which will highlight ways to imporve the energy performance of
your dwelling and reduce your Co2 emmissions.
This will save you money and enhance the value of your property.

We can also issue Provisional BER certificates which is valid for two years. This rating is based on pre-construction plans and specifications.

A full BER is provided on completion of the construciton and will take into account any changes to the plans that have been implemented during construction.

A full BER certificate is valid for 10 years.

(The legislation does not apply to listed buildings, listed national monuments, places of worship, temporary buildings, agricultural buildings and small stand alone buildings not exceeding 50m2).
